Inventor of mountain bike sport to start in BOSCH eMTB Marathon supported by Trek
The first ever edition of the BOSCH eMTB Marathon supported by Trek in Willingen attracts the sport's celebrities to Northern Hesse. No less a figure than Gary Fisher (USA), the inventor of mountain biking, will compete in Saturday's brand new 40.10 km long eMTB marathon race which starts and 8 AM and targets the special needs of e-mountain bikes.
The 65-year-old MTB trailblazer from Oakland, CA will enter the race on a Trek Powerfly capitalizing on the benefits of a Bosch motor system.
Countdown for the registration
The online registration for the Rocky Mountain Bike Marathon is only open until Wednesday night (12pm). Get a starting place for the highlight race at the Ziener Bike Festival in Willingen now. Of course a late registration at the festival is also possible, but just the next 100 registrations will get one of the Ziener t-shirts for free.
