Gravel-Biken- what does it actually mean?
Primarely, it`s about to discover different and unusal paths. About the variation from Asphalt to graveldirt tracks. Gravel stands for detection and being on tour – all in a sportive activity.
During the Panaracer Gravel-Ride at Willingen the participants will experience precisely that. It starts on friday 2 pm right at the festival area that the course, that offers many different and beautiful panoramas, will take you round Willingen. The course gives you everything what makes a Gravel-Heart races faster: Well-developed aspahlt – and cycle tracks as well as gravel paths and forest roads lead through picturesque villages and to the heart of the nature park Diemelsee. The course is peppered with awesome views over the Hochsauerland, like from the Krutenberg or at the Dommelturm. A refreshment spot will be organized at the Graf Stollberg-Hütte for all the Panaracer Gravel-Ride participants.

The Panaracer Gravel-Ride is no race but but a privat bicycle tour. So there will be no overall timekeeping, winners and award ceremony.
Registration starts January 31, 2017 on www.online-registration.de and is priced at 19,- euros.
- The course is signposted. Still, it`s recommended to take a GPS-Device with you.
- To take a repair kit with you is highly recommended.
- Participation is at your own risk
- Every participant undertakes to follow the rules of the StVo.
- The duty to wear a helmet exists during the whole event.
